CATEGORÍAS DE CONSTRUCCIÓN DE “WORLD ATHLETICS”

Las reglas de “WORLD ATHLETICS” con respecto al dimensionamiento de la pista de atletismo, así como el tamaño y el número de diferentes sistemas auxiliares son un libro con siete sellos, incluso para algunos expertos. “WORLD ATHLETICS” ha establecido sus recomendaciones en 5 categorías de diseño diferentes.

Construction Category 1

Competition Area

  • 400m standard running track
    with minimum 8 oval lanes and
    minimum 8 straight lanes for 100m and 110m hurdles
  • Water Jump for Steeplechase events
  • 2x Facilities for Long- and Triple Jump with landing areas at each end in same direction, with same conditions for the athletes
  • 2x Facilities for High Jump
  • 2x Facilities for Pole Vault
    with provision for landing area at each end in same direction,
    with same conditions for the athletes
  • one combined Facility for Discus- and Hammer throw
  • one Facility for only Discus throw in opposite throwing direction may also be provided
  • 2x Facilities for Javelin throw
    in opposite throwing direction, at each end of the area
    bei großen Wettkämpfen zusätzlich außerhalb des Stadions
    in gleicher Wurfrichtung
  • 2x Facilities for Shot Put
  • Ancillary rooms as described in Chapter 4

Warm-up Area comprising:

    and minimum 6 straight lanes for 100m and 110m Hurdles
    with similar surface to the competition track
  • separate throwing fields for
    Discus throw
    Hammer throw
    Javelin throw
  • 2x Facilities for Shot Put
  • Ancillary roomse.g. for:
    Physiotherapy
    adequate space for Athletes resting between events
    with area of minimum 250 m²

IAAF Construction Category 2

Competition Area

  • 400m standard running track
